Thank you to the lovely Gjeometry for nominating me for not one but three awards, very honoured I have to say. I’m sorry its taken me so long to get round to do this – she did me the honour a while back but between work, family and of course sewing – you know how it is! Also thrilled to bits to be nominated for the Versitile Blogger Award –  ”Someone give me a hand with these can’t you see I’ve only one pair of hands!!” By Sjmcclelland, thank you. “Get off my gown! you are trampling on the hem, make yourself useful and go get me some kittens – white ones! put them in my dressing room with some caviare, chilled champagne and that Bradley Cooper chap! I am so proud that I have remained the same sweet-natured person I always have been and I’m not letting all this fame and adulation go to my head. “Could you move back a bit you’re in my eye line!” In fact go and change that outfit your clashimg with mine!

1. My name is Annie, I live in Glasgow, Scotland with my husband, son 21 and daughter 18

2. I have had a passion for fashion all my life and have been sewing for 30 years – can’t really believe that! where does the time go!

3. I work as a paralegal in a law firm but my background and first love is theatrical costume.

4 My hobbies/passions are sewing and design, oil painting, music and musical theatre, vintage clothes/patterns/markets. At weekends when the weather is good I’m to be found kayak-ing and on occasion swimming in the lochs around Scotland.

5 My favourite movies are “It happened one Night” directed by Frank Capra – actually pretty much all his movies! and “The English Patient”
